Hello, my name is Tim Hudson. I have over 30 years experience fishing for many species of fish. I also fish up on Lake Michigan for Salmon and Skamania Steelhead, hence the name of my boat, “Skamaniac”. I have specialized in Striper/Wiper fishing as this is the best chance for my clients to catch a truly “Trophy Fish” right here in Indiana. This is the ultimate in “Big Fish Fishing” as these fish are real tackle busters! 2006 & 2007 were very good years on both Raccoon and Monroe reservoirs. In 2007, my clients took 8 fish over 25 lbs, with the largest being 27 lbs. We took a lot of fish over 20 lbs. last year with the average being between 14-20 lbs. I know there are some 30 lb. + fish swimming in Raccoon as the I.D.N.R. has shocked up some big fish in their surveys. Monroe yielded good numbers of Wipers with most over 6 lbs. up to 11 lbs. If you have never fished for Stripers or Wipers, you are in for the experience of a lifetime! There is nothing that thrills me more than to watch a guest hook up with a big Striper or Wiper.
